Helping Those on the Front Lines
We are always looking for ways we can help, and have come across an inspiring way people are coming together in this time of need.
#GetUsPPE is a grassroots movement founded by physicians and medical researchers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their team has grown to include engineers, scientists, programmers, and concerned citizens working around the clock to get them and their colleagues the equipment they need.
GETUSPPE.ORG was founded on the belief that healthcare workers should not have to fear for their own life because they do not have access to the protective equipment they need. They have worked to build a national, centralized platform to enable communities to get PPE to healthcare providers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bringing together the makers, and doers and the believers they are making a huge impact in communities around the United States in the acquisition of high need items such as:
- N95 respirator masks
- Surgical Masks
- Protective Goggles
- Gloves
- Face Shields
- Booties
- Gowns
April 23rd & 30th and May 7th, 14th & 21st, 2020, we will be donating 20% of all proceeds from online retail sales directly to getusppe.org where all funds will go to supporting the mission. Once they have successfully equipped everyone with PPE, or deem the crisis shortage of PPE in relation to COVID-19 to have ended, any funds will go to nonprofit organizations or programs that help support front line healthcare workers.
