Spring is in the air! Friendships Blossom and Love Blooms. This season gives us many delightful reasons to tip our tea cups.
Our bunny family, the Attaberys, have finally arrived on Cricket Island! After a very rough and long journey aboard the Pollywaddle, Elsie Attaberry and her children, Blossom, Bloom and Baby Bud, have landed at the safe haven of Burrows Bay. This sweet bunny family has now taken over our garden, and we are happy to have them as neighbors. To commemorate 24 Carrot Bunny years, we have made these loving characters come to life in soft creamy fur. They come fully dressed in the most charming outfits and are perfect for decorating the nursery.
This spring we have also added two sets of books featuring our bunny family. Six delightful new mini board books each come with a furry soft applique cover for baby to touch and feel. Then to introduce each member of the Attaberry family, we created a set of four die cut shaped board books for little ones to discover. Blossom's big generous heart, Bloom's romping tomboy adventures, Baby Bud's curious adventures, and of course, the nurturing busy-ness of their mother, Elsie.
We have discovered that Elsie is quite a sow-er of carrots as well as a sew-er of fine baby fashions. Using unique hand painted appliques, she has designed and donned our bunnies in soft knits and crisp spring cottons. Her favourite color for spring is lavender. Elsie has even encouraged us to add a bigger size to our most popular outfits and slippers, with a reminder that babies grow as fast as the weeds in her garden.
To make our wonderfull Silly Buddies even better, we took Elsie's advice and have added a rattle and a pacifier holder to each one. They are already a favorite for tying onto cribs and strollers and now they can be useful and entertaining as well.
And finally, we took our best selling Buddy Blankets and have made them in smaller sizes for on the go. Our new Bye Bye Buddies befriend baby in the car seat or stroller, providing security and comfort no matter where our wee ones go.
